A Special Tribute to Tabula Rasa

A special tribute to Epona’s original inspiration, Tabula Rasa, is now posted on the Epona website at www.eponaquest.com/a-tribute-to-tabula-rasa . This insightful, moving, and at times, mystical overview of Rasa’s life and the many lessons she taught was written by Linda Kohanov, featuring photos, artwork and some original music created for Rasa and other members of the Epona Herd by Belgium-based singer-songwriter Sanna Heijnis. Please take a few minutes to share in our memories and celebrate Rasa’s life.

  1. I am grateful to share life with wise animals. They have taught me much & I look forward to more.
Thank you for sharing your life with us.

  2. I am fortunate to have experienced many workshops and apprenticship weeks with Rasa at Apache Springs. One favorite and cherished memory is of Rasa closing a ceremony by giving back rubs to me and other participants as she received scratches and rubs from us; and an especially deep experience of Rasa (loose in the roundpen with us) while she and Linda lead us on an afternoon vision quest in the Mesquite Corral; Rasa often lived in the corral outside my window in the guest quarters at Apache Springs – I chatted with her often feeling her wisdom and sensitivity when I listened carefully enough.
My warmest thoughts and sympathy to Linda, Steve and all who were inspired by her!
