As a result of an outbreak of the Equine Herpes Virus in United States and Canada the decision has been made to postpone the memorial for Rasa that was scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Cases of this potentially fatal virus have been reported in various states including Arizona and Epona is taking every precaution necessary to protect the herd.  The memorial will be rescheduled at a later date when the potential health risk to the horses has passed.
