Join best selling author Linda Kohanov and award-winning composer Steve Roach for a unique, three-day intensive April 18 to 20, 2015. Be ready to spend time connecting with nature and horses in the heart of the desert, immersing yourself in transformational music, exercising creativity, and accessing your own personal myths of balance and transformation. (No horse experience or musical experience necessary.)
While Steve and Linda are recognized internationally as innovators in their own fields, they sometimes combine forces to create experiential workshops blending their life’s work. Steve has explored the power of sound in over a hundred critically acclaimed CDs and concerts throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. His double album “Dreamtime Return” is considered a classic, as is “Structures from Silence,” which was named one of the top 10 CDs for practicing yoga by Yoga Journal.
The author of four books translated into multiple languages, including “The Tao of Equus,” and “Riding between the Worlds,” Linda teaches advanced human development skills through working with horses. A former music critic, Linda found that the expanded states of consciousness and feeling she accessed through sound were enhanced when working with horses. “It turns out that these gentle yet powerful animals are masters at helping people exercise imagination, intuition, nonverbal communication, mindfulness, and leadership,” she says. “Over the last decade, Steve and I have found that combining equine-facilitated activities with musical experiences is a potent combination for people who want to not only connect with a deeper, more creative source of wisdom, but also embody it.” The husband-wife team has presented at the Omega Institute, the International Transpersonal Conference, Hollyhock, and other venues, but their most powerful seminars take place with their own herd of horses deep in the heart of the Sonoran desert outside Tucson, AZ.
Primal Reunion offers a series of experiences that activate the mythic imagination and expand your sense of place on a path less taken yet full of potential and creative energy. Gentle yet profound activities with horses, sound meditations, journey concerts, and music making encourage you to tap those lost or neglected parts of your own psyche, while helping you integrate body, mind and spirit in ways that support you to follow your dreams and live life to the fullest.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation up to 30 days prior to the event start date results in a credit of one-half the workshop tuition. There is no tuition credit for a cancellation 30 days or less before the event start date.
